Starbucks Coffee / Bridgeworks Deli, Northern Kentucky (Cincinnati) International Airport

When HMS Host decided to add a Starbucks Coffee to an existing deli at an open balcony adjacent to an escalator, the challenge was to draw customers off the main pedestrian path as they used the escalators. The renovation also required that kitchen equipment and casework remain intact, but that the design look fresh and new. The sweeping architectural elements visually draw customers in, enhance the atrium's exposed steel structure and reflect Cincinnati's theme of the "City of Bridges".
